Maritime Christian Bookstore -
a page in our history
Maritime Christian Bookstore began by supplying textbooks and study helps to the students of Maritime Christian College. Leslie Jones, who managed the bookstore, and his wife Fern then purchased the bookstore from the college in 1980s. Their efforts were blessed and enjoyed running the bookstore for nearly ten years. In September 1991, they sold the business to their daughter Bonnie, and her husband Roger May. In the years following, the Mays expanded the bookstore to include a music department and an extensive selection of books and gifts.
Bonnie and Roger invite you to visit them at 165 Hillsboro Street.

Dear Bonnie & Roger,
We had the wonderful opportunity to come into your store this week and look through the wide variety of books and other collections you and your staff offer.
Words can not even come close to describing the WONDERFUL, HELPFUL service that the two workers offered to us on Tuesday Sept 13. We were so pleased with the help they offered and are anxious to visit again.
We also had the opportunity to meet with Min. David Marshall and hope to attend Sunday Services.
By opening one door into your store has also allowed us to open another into the Central Christian Church.
We have truly been blessed by this great experience and are thankful for what you and your staff have to offer in your store.
Sincerely,
Michael & Ashley
